I giochi dei bimbi / Children's games

Sono due giorni che i bimbi si sono "chiusi" in cameretta, affiggendo un cartello alla porta che dice "Vietato entrare, F.A.C.I. al lavoro".

Ci hanno spiegato che se dobbiamo proprio entrare, prima dobbiamo bussare, e aspettare. Stanno creando qualcosa di loro, confabulano a voce bassa e stanno sicuramente combinando qualcosa di segretissimo.

Our children have been using privately their bedroom for two days, having at first posted a sign on  the door that says "Entry forbidden. F.A.C.E. at work".
They explained us that if we really have to enter the bedroom, we have to knock first and wait. They're creating something totally theirs, they speak softly and they're surely preparing something "big"!

Questa mattina hanno creato una tessera, e ho scoperto che deve essere una specie di club di agenti segreti, visto che prima di uscire uno ha detto all'altro "Però dobbiamo lasciare a casa le tessere dell'agenzia" (qui c'è lo zampino di Topolino....)

E ci hanno chiesto un tubo lungo, molto lungo, e due imbuti. E si sono costruiti un rudimentale telefono senza fili, che in questo momento li sta tenendo molto impegnati.

This morning they created a badge, and I discovered this way that it must be a sort of a secret agents' club, given that before we went out one told the other : "But we should leave the agency's badges home!" (here I can retreive hints of Topolino's stories...)
And they asked for a long, very long tube, and two funnells. And they then build a rudimentary communication tube, which, at the moment, is keeping them very busy.


Al solito, osservare dall'esterno e ascoltare i loro discorsi, quando non si bisbigliano cose segrete, è illuminante e buffo. Prima per esempio il piccolo ha detto che se il tubo fosse rimasto tutto aggrovigliato, le parole "Non sono chiare perchè si attorcigliano, non si capiscono".

Questa volta non è servito alcun aiuto o intervento esterno, dalle tante storie lette su Topolino e su dei libri, per il più grande, lette dalle immagini e ascoltate per il più piccolo, è nato un gioco fatto di carta, forbici, pennarelli, tubi e imbuti. E di tanto divertimento loro e soddisfazione mia per la loro grande fantasia.

As always , observing children from outside and listening to their conversations, when they don't whisper secret things, is illuminating and also funny. Earlier, e.g., the tiny elf said that if the tube remained all tangles, the words would not "Be clear, because they twirl and twist, so you don't understand them!"
These days they didn't need any help or input from outside: from the many stories read in Topolino and in many books, the elder brother; read fin images and heard from mum, dad and the elder brother, the younger boy, a new game was born, made of paper, scissors, felt pens, tubes and funnels. And lots of fun amongst themselves and with my great satisfaction for their big fantasy!
