Sometimes we prepare pancakes for breakfast. Our new back-to-school routine includes deciding in the evening what we'll have for breakfast the following morning: everybody is free to decide their own breakfast, provided they tell me what they want in the evening: hard boiled eggs, cereals and yoghurt, pancakes and so forth. In this way we're ready and organised in the morning: we set the table for the morning, we put on the table everything that won't be spoilt by a night outside the refrigerator (honey, Nutella and so on), and we leave for the morning only those things that need to be kept refrigerated.
In this way we save about 15 minutes in the morning an we can all sit at the table without the need to get up 15 minutes earlier!
Sabato mattina abbiamo fatto i pancakes: essendo sabato abbiamo molto tempo a disposizione e possiamo farlo tranquillamente.
Ecco i nostri pancakes:
On Saturday morning we had pancakes for breakfast: being Saturday we aren't on a hurry and we can do whatever we want for breakfast.

Ingredienti/Ingredients:
200 gr. farina 002 uova
1 cucchiaino di lievito per torte salate
100 gr. latte (poi io vado a occhio a seconda della densità che desidero. Più è densa, più spessi vengono i pancakes, meno è densa, più saranno sottili)
200 gr. wheat flour
2 eggs
1 coffee spoon rising powder (that for salted cakes)
100 gr. milk (more or less, I do add it according to the way I wish my pancakes to be: if I want them thicker, I'll add about this quantity, if I want them thinner, I'll add more)
Procedimento/How to do it:
Sbattere bene latte e uova. Setacciare la farina con il lievito, mescolandola poco per volta al mix latte-uova.
Sbattere con una frusta al fine di ottenere una pastella senza grumi.
Whisk milk and eggs. Pass wheat flour and rising agent through a sieve, mix them well with milk and eggs, whisking the everything with a whisk to obtain a smooth batter.
Scaldare una padella con un cucchiaio di olio vegetale.
Heat one tablespoon vegetable oil in a skillet.
Mettere un mestolino di pastella per ogni pancake (nella mia padella ce ne stanno massimo 4). Far cuocere sul primo lato
Put 3-4 spoonfuls of batter for each pancake (in my skillet there can sit 3-4 maximum at a time). Let them cook first on one side,
e poi girarlo per cuocere il secondo lato.
then turn them and let them cook on the second side.
Togliere dalla padella e servire con marmellata, confettura, Nutella, miele, sciroppo d'acero...o salato: fettine di formaggio o affettati!
Put them in a plate and serve with marmalade, jam, Nutella, honey, maple syrup....or something salted: cheese, ham, whatever you prefer!
