Letture animate: La nascita di Arlecchino /Dramatic Readings: The birth of Harlequin

Grande e lungo silenzio. Determinato dalla preparazione quasi contemporanea e dall'esecuzione di due letture animate, per le classi seconde e terze della scuola primaria.

Di quella per le terze vi racconterò in un post apposito, qui vi racconto de La Nascita di Arlecchino di Roberto Piumini, una lettura animata che era già stata proposta lo scorso anno per le classi seconde e che è stata riproposta quest'anno, cadendo nuovamente a cavallo del Carnevale la data per la lettura.

Chi ha già letto questo blog lo scorso anno, forse ricorderà i lunghi preparativi, l'uovo in scena da cui sbuca Arlecchino e che viene covato dal tempo e dall'attesa, dal Sole e dalla Luna, chi non lo ha letto potrà rivedere tutto qui, inclusa la preparazione del cappello da cuoco, del Sole e della Luna, del Tempo e dell'Allegria

E' stata un'esperienza intensa, molti dei costumi sono stati interamente rifatti dalla persona che aveva creato l'uovo perchè non li avevamo più a disposizione, e direi che anche quest'anno è stato un grande successo: i bambini e le maestre hanno apprezzato, si sono divertiti molto alla storia del panettiere e della massaia che inseguivano Arlecchino dopo avergli ammaccato le mani con una bella botta, e hanno appreso quanto fosse ingegnoso, nella storia di Piumini, Arlecchino stesso.

Deep and long silence on this blog. Due to the preparation almost at the same time and the execution of two dramatic readings, one for the second year of the primary school and the other one for the third year.


I'll tell you more in detail about the one for the third year in a future post, now I'll concentrate on the "The Birth of Harlequin" by Roberto Piumini one, a dramatic reading that was proposed last year, too, for the second year of the primary school, and that has been repeated this year, as the date for the reading fell again in the Carnival period.

Those who read this blog last year will probably remember the long preparation, the egg on the scene from which Harlequin is born and that is sat on by Time and Wait, the Sun and the Moon; those who haven't read it yet can do so here, including the making of the Chef's Hat, of the Sun and the Moon, Time and Happiness


It's been an intense experience, many of the costumes had to be re-made by the person who had prepared the egg, since they weren't available anymore, and I'0d say that this year, too, it's been a great success: children and teachers appreciated it and they had a really good laughter at Harlequin running away from the bread maker and the houselady who had hit him on the hand while he was trying to steal their food. They also learnt how ingenious was Harlequin in Roberto Piumini's tale.
